On November 18, 2008, Dennis Corporation employees volunteered at the Palmetto Project’s Families Helping Families phone bank. Hosted by Palmetto Project and WIS, the eleven Dennis Corporation employees served as phone operators during the day and answered inquiries about the Families Helping Families program and registering callers to sponsor local families in need.
Having sponsored several families in the past, Dennis Corporation was pleased to be able to serve in another capacity as well. The Families Helping Families program assigns families in need to local church groups, families and other organizations, who then purchase gifts and necessities to make their holiday wishes become a reality. With the help of numerous contributors, over 1,600 families will have the opportunity to experience a memorable holiday season because of this program.
