Kara DeFelice, a Dennis Corporation Marketing Associate, was recently selected as a winner in the Trimble 2009 Engineering and Construction Photo Contest. The object of the contest was to capture an engineering themed photo that included Trimble survey or construction products, accompanied by a brief write-up about the photo. Trimble Engineering received photos throughout the past year from contestants for their 2009 Calendar. Ms. DeFelice’s photo entry, shown below, was selected to appear as the photo for June in the 2009 Calendar.
Ms. DeFelice graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design before joining Dennis Corporation in 2007. As a Marketing Associate, Ms. DeFelice is able to use her photography knowledge and experience to create lasting images for the company’s business development. After hearing about her selection, Ms. DeFelice said, “I’m grateful that Dennis Corporation allows me to use my training and my passion for photography for the betterment of the company without imposing rigid guidelines concerning time or resources used to capture these images.”
