Dennis Corporation was recently awarded the 2018 Workforce Innovator Award for a Small Company by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. The award represents top innovation in South Carolina’s workforce development sector. Mr. Matt Hines, PE accepted the award on behalf of Dennis Corporation during the Workforce Development Symposium held in Columbia, South Carolina on October 29 and 30, 2018. Mr. Hines participated in a panel during the Workforce Development Symposium. The panel included Jeff Moore from Volvo Car US Operations, Inc., and John Davey from MAU Workforce Solutions. Volvo was honored for the Medium Company category, and MAU was awarded for the Large Company category of the 2018 Workforce Innovator Award.
The three members of the panel, including Mr. Hines, discussed how their programs and practices at work contribute to growing and developing the up and coming workforce in South Carolina. Mr. Hines spoke about Dennis Corporation’s internship programs and the opportunities that our firm offers to students.
