Dennis Corporation provided construction management for new additions to the Veteran’s Administration Government Complex in Columbia, South Carolina.

The goal of Dennis Corporation’s Project Management – Building Division is to use our qualified and experienced personnel to deliver high quality professional construction management services to our clients. Quality, Time and Budget (QTB) goals and objectives will be the top priority for each project. Dennis Corporation’s Project Management – Building Division offers project management/construction management services but not general contracting services; giving the Division independence in representing the owner/client’s interests with no possible conflicts of interest.

The Project Management – Building Division serves as an active liaison between the company and outside vendors to include engineers and contractors throughout the construction project. Dennis Corporation, as a project manager, will act and participate as the owner’s representative throughout the project to ensure the owner’s particular goals are achieved. Our track record for delivering projects on schedule and within budget is a credit to our experienced staff that coordinates between architectural, engineering and construction teams with quick resolutions to issues. As the owner’s representative, our team of professionals will ensure each specific project’s expectations are fully met.

Our PM – Building Services Include:

  • provide on-site construction project management representative
  • ensure that all necessary permits and certifications are obtained
  • facilitate all construction progress meetings and provide written reports
  • Monitor labor and materials progress
  • resolve any conflicts; mediate any disputes
  • recommend when change orders should be used and ensure their validity
  • provide technical inspections and quality control monitoring
  • monitor the quality of all workmanship and materials
  • monitor all progress payments and provide status reports that include funding, allocation, and project costs
  • provide cash flow projections and ongoing budget analysis
  • provide detailed monitoring of construction scheduling
  • coordinate final check out and punch list
