Town of Prosperity Sewer System Improvements

This project consisted of designing two Duplex Lift Stations and 7,000 LF of Force Main for the Town of Prosperity to serve 102 Single Family Residences, 24 two-bedroom apartments and one elementary school of approximately 550 students and staff. Dennis Corporation modeled 12,000 LF of Existing Gravity Sewer, 5,500 LF of Force Main and one existing Lift Station. Bentley SewerCAD was used to model the existing and proposed system, to enable our design professionals to analyze the entire system under real conditions for an extended period of time. This allowed our designers to develop a more efficient design and provided the Town of Prosperity with an accurate model of their wastewater system.

Dennis Corporation personnel also assisted the Town of Prosperity in securing funding from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) and a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for this project. Newberry County procurement procedures were also followed to advertise, bid and award the contract to the apparent low bidder. Cost estimates were provided to the Town of Prosperity, detailing construction costs.
