Ralph H. Johnson Parking Lot

Dennis Corporation was hired to prepare a comprehensive study at the VA Hospital’s downtown Charleston campus and prepare design drawings and specifications for a 1,000 lot parking lot. Construction was performed in phases to allow for employee and patient parking 24 hours a day 365 days per year. Extensive soil improvements had to be designed and constructed due to the poor soil conditions near the waterfront facility.
