Dennis Corporation recently sponsored the Regan Roberts basketball team for the 2010-2011 season. The team is part of a local community basketball league for 9th—11th graders. The league is named Regan Roberts Basketball League after a Bethel Hanberry Elementary School Gym Teacher who passed away from cancer, but had the vision to provide a league to children in the community.
The league, which recently expanded from only offering opportunities to 1st—8th graders, to now offering teams in the 9th—11th grades as well, needed more sponsors. Dennis Corporation was happy to assist with this need. Dennis Corporation has several employees who live in the Blythewood area and is active in the Blythewood Chamber of Commerce.
Since its inception in 2005, Dennis Corporation has been involved in the sponsorship of many local recreational sports teams. In addition to the Regan Roberts basketball team, Dennis Corporation’s sponsorships have included Diamond Darlin’s Little League Softball Team, Jets Girls Softball, Blythewood’s Dixie Boys All-Stars team and the Pineview Football League.
