Dennis Corporation President, Dan Dennis, recently met with several members of the  University of South Carolina’s chapter of the  National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

NSBE was founded in 1975 at Purdue University and is now among the largest student-run organizations in the United States with more than 35,700 members nationwide. The NBSE is on  a mission “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.”

Mr. Dennis recognizes the importance of diversity  in the workplace and the potential that every employee can bring to any organization. During the meeting, Mr. Dennis presented an overview of the company and discussed possible internships for the students.

Dennis Corporation is dedicated to helping students learn more about the engineering industry and providing them with an outlet in which to apply knowledge learned in the classroom.  Each year, Dennis Corporation offers internship positions in Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, Marketing, Accounting, IT, and Graphic Design for students from colleges and universities all throughout South Carolina.
