Today, Dennis Corporation received notification of being named to Inc. magazine’s 2010 Inc. 500|5000, recognizing America’s fastest growing privately owned companies. Dennis Corporation was ranked the overall number 693 company on the list, placing the firm in the top 15 percent.  Additionally, Dennis Corporation was ranked the number 6 fastest growing company in the engineering industry. Furthermore, in the state of South Carolina, Dennis Corporation was ranked the number 4 overall fastest growing company and ranked number 1 in Columbia. Inc. President, Bob LaPointe, said this about the rankings, “The leaders of the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression. The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs.” We are very proud of this achievement and excited to receive national recognition for all of the hard work the employees have put in to help grow the company.

The rankings are determined by compiling revenue numbers over a four year period to determine the percent growth of the company. Dennis Corporation revenues were submitted for 2006 and 2009, showing the consistent growth of the company. Over this period, Dennis Corporation had a 442% growth. Being named to this list is the widest national recognition that Dennis Corporation has ever received. Additionally, with the continued dedication of all of the employees of Dennis Corporation, we hope to remain on this list for many years to come.
