Dennis Corporation civil engineering intern Theo Marshall is warming up the Midland’s disadvantaged community through distributing more than 1,100 coats to nearly 300 individuals.
As Director of Communications for H.Y.P.E. (Helping Young People Evolve), Mr. Marshall orchestrated a clothing drive that reached families in time to prepare for the coldest part of the year. “Giving back makes me feeling more connected to those around me,” said Mr. Marshall.
To augment the drive, Mr. Marshall placed boxes in the Dennis Corporation headquarters. In a few short weeks, he collected 40 shirts, 50 coats and shoes from nearly 30 employees.
“I am a huge believer in giving back and helping out in the community where I grew up. I’ve been blessed and giving back is a way for me to share my blessings.”
