Dennis Corporation, a Columbia, SC, engineering, surveying and construction management firm, has announced its end of year gross revenue for 2007. Dennis Corporation eclipsed the $3 million mark for 2007, beating the previous year’s mark by more than a half-million dollars. Dennis Corporation’s projection for 2007 was $2.4 million, and the final revenue for the year was $3,014,088.
Since its inception, Dennis Corporation has not only consistently increased revenue but has also grown from two employees to a total of fifty-three, encompassing ten operating divisions. Dennis Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer, Beth Fleming, CPA stated, “This is truly a milestone for a company that was incorporated in June 2005.”
In addition to experiencing tremendous revenue growth, Dennis Corporation has also implemented steps to secure its presence in downtown Columbia by acquiring a new Corporate Headquarters located at 1800 Huger Street in downtown Columbia. Dennis Corporation will begin renovation on the building in the summer of 2008 and will move into their new headquarters in January of 2009. Funding for the purchase and renovation of the building was made possible through the City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities Empowerment Zone Program and through Ameris Bank.
