On July 22, 2009, Mr. Dennis Fallon, Dean of Engineering at The Citadel, presented Mr. Dan Dennis, President of Dennis Corporation, a plaque in appreciation of Dennis Corporation’s donation to The Citadel School of Engineering’s Scholarship Fund. The employees of Dennis Corporation gave the donation to Mr. Dennis in his honor as a Christmas gift on December 13, 2008. The plaque that Dean Fallon presented to Mr. Dennis will be displayed in the School of Engineering at The Citadel.
In addition to the scholarship donation, Dennis Corporation has been committed to supporting The Citadel and its students. Their past support includes sending care packages to deployed Citadel Troops during the Christmas season. Dennis Corporation also has been an active participant in events on campus such as the Annual Citadel Professional Activities Event (PAE) career fair. Dennis Corporation is proud to be a supporter of The Citadel and its students, both past and present, through its scholarship fund and other programs.
Dennis Corporation also employs a number of graduates from The Citadel, including Mr. Dennis. Mr. Dennis received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration at The Citadel. Other employees who are graduates from The Citadel include Berry Mattox, Traffic Engineering Manager, and Dwight Cathcart, Special Projects Manager. Dennis Corporation has also employed several interns from The Citadel.
