Dennis Corporation hosted its 4th Annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 12th at the Hilton Garden Inn. To help those less fortunate this holiday season, each guest was asked to bring a new, unused toy with them to the event to be donated to Toys for Tots. Through their joint efforts, Dennis Corporation was able to collect over fifty toys which will serve to make an impact on up to fifty families within the Columbia community this holiday season.

Toys for Tots is an annual charitable foundation of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in which new, unwrapped toys are collected and distributed to children of needy families throughout the community the campaign is conducted within. One of the four objectives of Toys for Tots is to assist in helping children in need feel the joy of Christmas; a moment they would undoubtedly not be able to have without the efforts of others in the community surrounding them.

Dennis Corporation is supportive of the local community and recognizes the importance of a community’s collective efforts in helping others less fortunate feel the joy of Christmas during the holiday season. By coming together and collectively donating these gifts to underprivileged families, it is their hope to be able to make the Christmas holidays a joyful and memorable one for young children throughout the Columbia area.

Dennis Corporation Marketing Associate, Kara DeFelice, a Columbia area native and organizer of the event, said “It was a pleasure organizing the (Dennis Corporation) Christmas party this year, especially by incorporating the Toys for Tots campaign. It allowed everyone to commemorate the Christmas spirit by being able to impact the lives of young children in the area in which we live and work.”
