The Farm at Ridgeway accomplished a huge milestone on February 12, 2009 with its ribbon cutting ceremony. Dennis Corporation employees joined in the celebration and were in attendance at the event to show support of the new subdivision.
The Farm at Ridgeway is a new equestrian community in Ridgeway, S.C. This project consists of a 127 acre, 44 lot subdivision with 1.2 miles of roadway, community barn, common pasture area and riding trails.
Over the past four months, Dennis Corporation has played an integral role in assisting with the development of the Farm at Ridgeway. Dennis Corporation’s Civil Infrastructure division value engineered the project and designed the barn parking lot, wastewater, drainage and septic plans. The Survey Division of Dennis Corporation provided staking for the new home lots and staking around the community barn.
Throughout the subdivision, Dennis Corporation’s Construction Services department provided testing and utilized a roadway reclamation process. The reclamation process is an environmentally friendly and cost effective process that provides a complete and durable road system that cut costs by nearly half a million dollars. Dennis Corporation was also responsible for coordinating the bidding on the project, utilities coordination and permit applications for water/ wastewater facilities.
